Sumy State University is among fastest-rising stars of the higher education world founded less than 50 years agothe first Ukrainian university, which joins the ranking of the world’s leading young universities by QS World University Ranking.
The ranking is based on the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings and is published annually by the British Company QS. According to the QS WUR, Sumy State University is in top 3% of the world’s leading universities.
The QS says that the ranking celebrates the fastest-rising stars of the higher education world founded less than 50 years ago. Sumy State University ranked 101-150 in the world and is the only Ukrainian university in this ranking.
First published in 2012, the QS Top 50 Under 50 celebrates the world’s leading young universities. It is published annually, based on the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings, and since 2015 has doubled its range to include the Next 50 Under 50.
For the fourth year running Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore is the best young university in the world. This year’s ranking includes universities from 25 different countries.
